October is Housing America Month. This month is an annual campaign created by The National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) in 2007 to raise awareness about the crucial need for safe, quality, and affordable housing. Each year they hold a “What Home Means to Me” poster contest.

- Share testimonials from residents whose lives have been improved by access to affordable housing
- Share stories, photos, and videos highlighting the impact of affordable housing on social media
